AUSA 2022

HairNerd had a fantastic opportunity to showcase two of its products at the prestigious AUSA Trade Show in Washington, DC on October 10-12. Their catchy slogan, "Today's Soldier is Required to Look Good," was met with great enthusiasm, and the Shampoo Sheets and Firm Hold Hair Gel became an instant hit due to their practicality for use in the field. These products are incredibly convenient for soldiers as they take up minimal space in their bags and require little to no water for use. Demonstrating the gel sheets to men and women was akin to performing a magic trick. Initially met with skepticism, they were amazed when water was added to the sheet and the gel activated. Soldiers who are permitted to use hair gel or hairspray must carry bulky products that can potentially explode under pressure, causing a messy and frustrating clean-up. Our Firm Hold Hair Gel, on the other hand, is a compact 3.5"x5.5" envelope of dehydrated hair gel that can be easily stored anywhere. It's practical and effortless to use. Additionally, our Shampoo Sheets are an excellent choice for soldiers. Dry shampoos have been recalled twice due to their harmful and cancer-causing contents. Our Shampoo Sheets eliminate this risk and are equally effective, making them a sensible choice for anyone on the go. Our troops have long relied on traditional aerosol dry shampoo to maintain cleanliness on the battlefield, but these cans are hazardous due to their potential for explosion when mixed with chemicals. That's why our Shampoo Sheets are a game-changer. Made entirely from biodegradable materials like paper, starch, and clay, they are not only safe for the user but also environmentally friendly. These versatile sheets are highly effective for removing grease from both hair and body and require no water for use. Our innovative product is poised to revolutionize field hygiene, and we are proud to serve the brave men and women who defend our nation. Our recent Trade Show was an incredible experience, and we look forward to what the future holds.
